I'm rebuilding the sister site (www.Darkfalz.com site), along with this one. I'm open to suggestions (use the Contact link or just drop a line to me at darkfalz@darkfalz.com). Community Server was a good base for the other site for a little while but I really want more "hands-on" control so I'm doing what most of the geeks do and building it myself from scratch. I've learned a lot and got some interesting ideas I want to play with so be patient with my playings. I'll post a link to the beta sites(s) as I get them going. Thanks ~ Curt

Microsoft MVP Summit - 2007

Well, another Microsoft MVP Global Summit has come and gone. It's been a wild week of Executive Keynotes and Technical Sessions. Overall there was a lot of interesting things to see and hear about. Linq, Orca's and WPF just to name a few. While much of the information is under an NDA I can say that there are a lot, and I mean a very lot of things coming down the pipe. It should be an interesting year for the development community.

Nominated (and accepted) as Moderator on www.Asp.net

As many of you know, or may not know, I've always been pretty active in the on-line support communities. In the past it was almost exclusively the Microsoft Newsgroups. In the last couple of years though, Microsoft has shifted their ASP & ASP.Net peer support enphasis to the www.Asp.Net web forums. With that I also made the shift and consider that my primary community interaction point. Recently I was nominated, by the other moderators, to become a forum moderator myself... In the end I guess it mostly just means that I'll be spending even more time online, trying to help out but I thought I would share the information.

2007 Microsoft MVP Summit

Looks like I'll be out in beautiful Seattle from March 11th-17th visiting with the other MVPs and with the Microsoft techies. While the main draw of this event for many MVPs is the camaraderie, for me it's always been a great chance to interact with the people who wrote the software. You'd be amazed at the intelligence of that group...wow. Anyway, if you are out and about and in the downtown area during that week I may just run into you.

Microsoft MVP - 5th Year Running

As of Oct 1st it was official. The news module is new....and I hope it works right. It's all a work-in-progress but I'm doing what I have time for.
